What is Open Source ?

Open source refers to a software development approach where the code is accessible to everyone. It can also be freely modified and shared. In practice, this means that anyone can access the code of an application, tool, or software program. Open source is not only about code. It is a philosophy centered on user collaboration, allowing anyone to add features, report and fix errors, or adapt the code to their needs for personal or professional use.
